Most pet urns are mass-produced and shipped in from overseas. We wanted something better for the families we look after — a piece with real craftsmanship behind it, made close to home. Loburn Furniture is exactly that: a North Canterbury maker turning native Rimu and Pine into urns worth keeping.
It fits how we think about the whole of aftercare. The care your pet receives shouldn’t stop at the ashes — where they finally rest matters too, and it should be as considered as everything that came before it.

Made to order, by hand
Each urn is custom built by a craftsperson — not stamped out of a mould or imported by the pallet. The result is a piece made for your pet, with the marks of real woodworking in it.

Worked in native Rimu and Pine, with the warm grain and character those timbers are known for. A natural material for a natural farewell.
